Colorado Information Sharing Consortium to Implement COPLINK® Statewide

A new module for COPLINK to provide agencies with the fastest way to link analysts to vital law enforcement data held in COPLINK nodes from within the industry-leading analytical tool, i2 Analyst's Notebook

Denver, CO – i2, the market leading provider of intelligence and investigation management software, today launched COPLINK Analysis Search, a new module for COPLINK, the number one tactical lead generation solution for U.S. Law Enforcement agencies. The announcement was made at the International Association of Chiefs of Police 116th IACP Annual Conference and Exposition in Denver, Colorado.

COPLINK Analysis Search provides law enforcement analysts with the fastest access to vital crime data held in COPLINK nodes directly from the market-leading analytical tool, i2 Analyst's Notebook. The module enables agencies to easily combine law enforcement, crime and intelligence data to quickly uncover hidden connections and patterns. By leveraging i2 AnalysisReady Search™ technology users are able to simultaneously and comprehensively search COPLINK nodes and other data sources to gather information for analysis.

Unmatched Speed of Access to Consolidated Law Enforcement Data for Analysis

Each COPLINK node contains vast amounts of consolidated, normalized and linked law enforcement data. COPLINK Analysis Search enables analytical users to search that information using i2 AnalysisReady Search™ technology. This unique search technology comprehensively searches the database using techniques similar to what a human would use to ensure all relevant results are uncovered. The results are returned automatically modeled and semantically enriched and immediately ready for analysis and intelligence production.

The Automated Regional Justice Information System (ARJIS), a complex criminal justice enterprise network utilized by 82 local, state and federal agencies in the two California counties that border Mexico, is one of the many joint i2 and COPLINK customers that will benefit from this new COPLINK Analysis Search solution. For agencies already using COPLINK, the new COPLINK Analysis Search module is available immediately and deploys easily as a service on top of the existing COPLINK node so agencies can be up-and-running quickly and with no customization needed. Analytical users access the solution through the market-leading i2 Analyst's Notebook already installed in over 3,000 agencies around the world.

The new solution extends the value of investments already undertaken to normalize and integrate data into the COPLINK node. As more data sources are enabled, agencies are able to reverse the generally accepted 80/20 rule, where analysts spend 80% of their time researching and collating information leaving only 20% for analysis.
