Cambridge, UK – As part of its fraud initiative, i2 attended a number of key regional exhibitions, including Bolton, Birmingham and Stansted, to discuss the challenges faced by businesses. A key theme from these conferences was the fact that fraud is on the increase, and as a result is becoming more of a priority for UK businesses.
Information sharing is critical in combating organised fraud and i2's range of software solutions provides an ideal currency towards achieving this. The advanced analytical capacity of i2 Analyst's Notebook provides relevant organisations and agencies with the best chance of creating tangible links between what may at first appear to be random fraud attacks, but which are actually part of organised fraudulent behaviour.
Caroline Brown, Marketing Communications Manager for i2 Limited, said: "These regional forums are an important tool for private and public sector organisations to combat the increasing threat of fraud, by sharing information and discussing new ways to overcome the problem.
"However, despite recognition that this is critical topic to address, many companies are being forced to reduce their investment in fighting this issue due to over-riding economic concerns and tightening budgets. We would urge companies to consider the potential impact of failing to invest, as it may prove far more expensive in the long run.
"Throughout each of the conferences we attended, a large number of companies and organisations expressed strong interest in i2's range of software solutions, with a particular interest in the potential cost savings that can be made by stemming fraudulent behaviour."
